With reference to your Despatch marked Miscellaneous of the 3rd. of May, 1918, I have the honour to submit the following names of Members of the Police Reserve who have rendered services in connection with the war:-

F. C. Jenkin, C.B.E., Deputy Superintendent in command of Hongkong Police Reserve. John William Franks, Assistant Superintendent and

second in command since April, 1916. Sydney John Chinchen, Chief Inspector (Musketry), George Edward Roylance, Sergeant Major and Chief

Inspector.

Leonardo d'Almada e Castro, Chief Inspector Portu-

-guese Command.

Wong Kwang-tin, Chief Inspector Chinese Command, Sirdar Khan, Chief Inspector Indian Command.

Mr. Jenkin was mentioned in my Confidential 7220714. Despatch of 13th. January, 1917. He has since been awarded the C.B.E. Messrs. Roylance, d'Almada e Castro, and Wong Kwong-tin were mentioned in my cypher telegram of the 10th. of November, 1917, while Sirdar Khan was mentioned in my cypher telegram of 22nd. December, 1917.
